The Termina business electricity rates API returns the cheapest business electricity rates for any location on Australia’s National Electricity Market. Each plan is costed for a year at the usage you give it, incl. GST, and compared with the regulated standing offer for that network at the same usage. It covers two kinds of rates:
  • Public plans that any business can sign up to, from retailers’ published plan data.
  • Termina buying group rates, negotiated by Termina for 10,000+ business locations and only available through Termina.

Questions it answers

  • What is the cheapest business electricity rate for a postcode, network, city or state?
  • How much less than the Default Market Offer (DMO) or Victorian Default Offer (VDO) is it?
  • Which retailer has the cheapest public business plan on a network?
  • What would a business using 25,000 kWh a year pay on each plan?
  • Is a Termina buying group rate cheaper than the best public plan?
